Our Process
All of our pieces start out as a ball of clay and are thrown on a potter's wheel. Once they are dried, trimmed and handled, we create our designs through carving, staining and underglaze painting. The decorated pieces are then fired in our kiln and coated with food-safe, lead-free glazes. They are fired once more to 2200° where they become finished stoneware pieces!
